Evaluation of Plastic Pipe Fittings used in Duct
Systems.
SAMPLE ID:
19 plastic pipe fittings were received from the client on 5/28/98. The samples were received in good condition.
PROCEDURE:
The fittings were evaluated in accordance with ASTM D 2665-97, Section 6.3.2. The fittings were loaded with 750lbf/ft of centerline length. The fittings were then checked for cracking or any other signs of failure.

RESULTS:

CONCLUSION:
The fittings do comply with the requirements of ASTM D
2665-97, Section 6.3.2 (which exceeds ASTM D 2412).
